What to Expect

Embark on a private day trip from Fez to the stunning Ifrane National Park, where you will experience the serene beauty of the Middle Atlas and the rich Berber culture. Next, you will visit the breathtaking Lake Dait Aoua, a large lake surrounded by cedar trees and hills, ideal for taking memorable pictures. After spending around 45 minutes enjoying the serene views, your journey continues to Ifrane, also known as the "Little Switzerland," with its French-built architecture, Al Akhawayn University, the landmark stone Lion, and flower-lined alleys. Here, you will spend approximately an hour exploring. A lunch break in a traditional restaurant follows, giving you a taste of local cuisine. After lunch, continue through the Cedar Forest and National Park, where you can enjoy the sight of and feed arbary macaque for about 45 minutes. The tour concludes with a visit to Azrou, a Berber village where you will learn about the culture, trade, and lifestyle of the Berber locals for around an hour before heading back to your hotel or accommodation in Fez.
