Activity Review Content and Moderation Policy

We reserve the right to monitor and moderate all activity reviews submitted through our platform. Reviews that are not related to an activity offered by an activity provider on our platform or that do not comply with this Policy may be modified, withheld from publication, or removed in accordance with this Policy.

• Verification and Publication Process - Some activity reviews may not be published immediately upon submission. Where necessary, reviews may be subject to a verification and moderation process before publication to ensure compliance with this Policy and our applicable terms. To help ensure that the ratings displayed on our platform provide a fair and representative reflection of an activity provider, we may apply a minimum publication threshold before reviews become publicly visible. Verified reviews submitted for new activity providers or activities that have not yet reached this threshold may be retained but remain hidden from public view. Once the applicable publication threshold has been reached, eligible verified reviews may be published. This approach helps prevent a small number of reviews from disproportionately influencing an activity provider's overall rating and supports a balanced, reliable and transparent review system.

• Language of Activity Reviews - Reviews submitted in languages that are not supported by our platform may be translated into English before publication. Translations may be generated using automated translation tools and may be reviewed as part of our moderation process. While we aim to ensure that translations accurately reflect the original content and meaning of the review, the original language version remains the authoritative version.

• Minimum Review Length - To ensure that activity reviews provide meaningful and useful information to travellers, reviews must meet our minimum length requirements before they are eligible for publication. Reviews that do not meet this requirement may be withheld from publication until they are updated to include sufficient detail about the activity experience.

• Fake, Fraudulent or Inaccurate Content - Reviews that are fraudulent, misleading, or appear to be generated by bots or competitors.

• Irrelevant or Off-Topic Reviews - Reviews must specifically reflect the activity itself. Feedback unrelated to the actual activity experience, such as administrative processes or external arrangements, should be directed to our support team. We reserve the right to withhold or remove reviews that do not align with this guideline.

• Reviews Related to Cancellations or Non-Participation - Only reviews from verified customers who have completed a booking via our platform are eligible for publication. Reviews submitted by individuals who did not attend or complete the activity may be withheld from publication, as they do not reflect a genuine experience of the activity itself. This ensures that published reviews provide an accurate and fair representation of the activity's quality and content. Feedback concerning cancellations, booking issues, or related matters remains important and can be addressed directly through our support team.

• Multiple Reviews for the Same Activity - Where a customer has completed multiple bookings for the same activity offered by the same activity provider, we may limit the publication of multiple reviews relating to substantially the same activity experience. Where additional reviews are substantially duplicative or do not provide new information, we may publish only one review for that activity. This helps prevent duplicate content and ensures that our review section remains clear, balanced, relevant and useful for travellers.

• Offensive or Inappropriate Language - Reviews that contain hate speech, personal attacks, discriminatory, offensive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate language or content.

• Abusive Behavior - Reviews that include threats, harassment, or defamatory statements.

• Conflict of Interest - Reviews written by individuals with a vested interest, such as competitors, employees, or providers reviewing their own activities.

• Violation of Privacy - Reviews that disclose personal information without consent.

• Unjustified Negative Feedback Due to External Factors - Reviews primarily influenced by circumstances beyond the control of the activity provider may be evaluated for relevance before being published or retained.

• Misleading or Unfounded Criticism - Reviews must be based on truthful and firsthand experiences. We may withhold or remove reviews that contain false, fabricated, or materially misleading statements, or unfounded factual allegations that misrepresent the activity, the activity provider, or the services provided.

We do not alter the meaning, substance or overall opinion expressed in a review. We may correct minor typos, spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, or formatting issues where necessary to improve clarity and readability. Where a specific part of a review does not comply with these guidelines, we may remove or anonymize the relevant content. If the non-compliant content cannot be removed without affecting the meaning or integrity of the review, or if the review as a whole does not comply with these guidelines, we may withhold or remove the entire review. If a review includes the name of an activity guide/instructor and could be misinterpreted or cause harm, we may anonymize the reference or request clarification from the reviewer before publication.

If you believe a review violates our guidelines, you may request its removal by contacting us via our Help Center. Please provide details about the review in question, including where it appears on our website and the reason for your request. These guidelines ensure that reviews on our platform remain genuine, respectful, and helpful for our community. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a trustworthy environment.
