What to Expect

Embark on a private 2-day adventure from Fes to explore the stunning landscapes of Ifrane, the Middle Atlas Mountains, and Merzouga, where you will experience a memorable camel ride through the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. Your journey begins with a visit to Ifrane, a unique French-designed ski resort that resembles a Swiss village. After soaking in its charm, you will head to the Azrou Cedar Forest to see and feed Barbary macaque, a delightful experience in a picturesque setting.

Continue your drive through the Middle Atlas, passing through scenic forests, springs, and rock formations, as well as traditional Berber villages. Next we will head to Midelt, known for its fossils and rocks, provides a well-deserved break where you can go to one of the local restaurants for lunch. En route to Merzouga, you will enjoy a panoramic view of a large palm oasis. Upon arriving in Merzouga, you will meet your guide and camels for an unforgettable camel trek in the Erg-Chebbi dunes, culminating in a beautiful sunset. After a night in a Berber tent with mint tea, dinner, and stargazing, day two begins with a sunrise walk near the Algerian border. Finally, you will return to Fes with lunch and breaks along the way, arriving back at your accommodation in the evening.
