If you are staying in Ericeira and you want to learn how to ride the best waves on Praia do Matadouro, join our surf lessons on Praia do Matadouro. Our experienced and professional instructors will help you reach your goals in no time on a beautiful, family-friendly and safe beach. The minimum age for our group lessons is 7 years old.
Our surf classes are designed for beginners who are ready to discover the surf culture in a relaxed and supportive learning environment. Our priority is to allow you to improve at your own pace and to make you feel safe. For a more personal approach, the maximum number of participants in our group lessons is 5. We are waiting for you!
Meeting & Preparation
We meet in front of the Quicksilver Park 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. From here, you will head to the beach with your instructor, and you will receive the equipment you need. If you arrive by car, you can use the free car park nearby. You can get changed and leave your personal belongings in the van of the surf school.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

You need to have swimming ability to participate. The minimum age for the group lessons is 7 years.
Why can the time of my lesson change, and how big is the group?
The start time is scheduled according to the tides to ensure the best surfing conditions. You will be informed of the exact time after booking. The groups have a maximum of 5 participants.
Is equipment included, and what do I need to bring?
A wetsuit and a surfboard are included in the price. You should bring your own swimwear, a towel and a bottle of water.
