Canyoning in the Wunzenschlucht and sliding through the Nadelöhr (needle eye). Experience Carinthia's most beautiful gorges and let yourself be carried away by the flow of water. Face nature from its adventurous side together with our state-certified guides. The canyoning tour includes 12 waterfalls between 8 and 35 metres that serve perfectly as water slides and as a starting point for jumps and abseiling passages.
Tour programmePreparation
The meeting point for this canyoning tour is at our camp in Obervellach. If you arrive by car, free parking is available directly at the base. Please be there about 5 minutes earlier to have enough time for registration. You will receive a briefing from one of our guides, and then we head to the climbing tower to rehearse before the actual adventure in the canyon starts. Afterwards, you will receive your equipment and have time to change.
Tour
You will climb through the canyons, along the rock walls, climb rocks and abseil down waterfalls. There will be sliding, jumping and swimming in the canyon. Important: It is not a must to jump from the rocks into the water, there are always alternatives. After 2 hours and 10 minutes, you have completed the tour.
Return
A transfer will pick you up and take you back to our base when you are done with your tour through the gorge. You can take a warm shower and change your clothes and just relax. Additionally, you can test your balance and coordination at our motor skills park with 28 wooden stations.
For those who want to eat, there's a restaurant at the arrival, as well as a BBQ (22,50€ for adults, 13€ for kids) which can be booked on site.Tour facts
