You will hike, climb and slide along the gorges, swim through the clear water and jump into the natural pools of the river. Out certified guides are always by your side and support you. Tour programmePreparation
The meeting point for this tour is in our base in Obervellach. If you arrive by car, free parking is available directly at the base. Please be there about 5 minutes before the start so that we have enough time for registration. You will receive a briefing from one of our guides, and then we take you to the climbing tower to rehearse before going into the gorge. Afterwards, you will be given your equipment and have time to change. Then we will head to the entrance together.
Tour
You spend about 2 hours and 10 minutes in the water and cross the canyon in different ways - climbing, sliding, walking, jumping. It is not a must to jump off a rock, as there are always alternatives.
Return
Once you have reached the exit point, a transfer will take you back to our base, where you can shower and change your clothes. You can end the day at our camp and test your balance in the motor skills park.
For those who want to eat, there's a restaurant at the arrival, as well as a BBQ (22,50€ for adults, 13€ for kids) which can be booked on site.Tour facts

What a great experience this was. I try to pack our holidays with as many activities as possible and this was the best of the bunch. I took my two children (15 & 10) and they both loved it, just the right amount of challenge whilst allowing us to see some beautiful nature close up.
Special mention to our guide Marco whose knowledge of the local environment and geology just added to the adventure. He is very passionate about the outdoors and his stunning part of the world. We learnt a lot from him whilst also enjoying the challenge of navigating the gorge.
As long as you have a reasonable level of fitness and agility I cannot recommend this enough. Next time we are in Austria we will definitely be booking again for one of the more extreme experiences.
