Do you dream of exploring the seabed around the globe? Then it's time to become a certified diver! By getting the SSI Open Water Diver certification in Fréjus, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to dive safely and confidently while discovering the underwater life of the Mediterranean Sea.
No prerequisites are necessary for this certification: it can be done as a first diving experience, after a first dive or as a continuation of a Discover Scuba Diving module. After a theoretical part at home, you will do several open water dives. You will start at shallow depths to master the basics before venturing deeper and deeper, increasing your autonomy.

The SSI certification is an international certification. The Open Water Diver teaches you diving autonomy through familiarization with the equipment, learning the safety rules and knowledge of your environment. It also allows you to dive anywhere in the world up to a depth of 18 m, together with a diver of the same level, or to 20 m alongside a diving instructor.
Programme- eLearning:
The theoretical training kit is included in the price of the certification. We recommend that you read it before your first dive.
- Duration:
You will have to do 6 dives to get your certification. Depending on how much time you have at hand, you can schedule one or two dives per day. It is also possible to do a crash course over a weekend, for example.
- Kick-off:24 to 48 hrs before the first dive, we ask you to contact us so that we can confirm all the details (like the schedule), depending on the weather conditions.
On the day, we meet at the agreed time at our base in Port Fréjus. Free and paid parking can be found nearby. All equipment is waiting for you directly on our boat, where you can also change and store your personal belongings. Then we set off for the dive site. You will receive the first theoretical lessons before your first dive directly at sea.
