Enjoy your first ever dive to discover the magnificent landscapes of the coastline and the Mediterranean seabed. We will take you by boat to the heart of the Cerbère-Banyuls marine reserve, where you will dive in an extraordinary underwater environment. For 20 or 30 minutes, you will develop basic scuba diving skills at your own pace and dive to a depth of 6 m together with your experienced instructor. After your trial dive, you will take advantage of the remaining time to try your hand at snorkeling. After this unforgettable 3-hour outing, you will receive a trial scuba diving diploma to acknowledge your achievement!
Dive Area
In the heart of the Côte Vermeille, the Marine Nature Reserve stretches between Banyuls and Cerbère. You will find spaces fit for bathers and divers, all of which respect the area's biodiversity. Recognized as the first Marine Nature Reserve in France, this paradise offers you an exceptional marine flora and fauna.
Programme
We will meet you directly at our club in Cerberus. We will give you the rental equipment and your instructor will brief you on how to use it and what to expect underwater. The trip begins with a boat trip along the rocky coast during which you can discover the exceptional sites of the marine reserve. During the trip, your instructor will give you instructions to make sure your scuba diving experience goes smoothly. Your group is up to 8 people.
When you arrive at the dive site, you will be able to dive up to 6 m deep for 20 or 30 minutes to admire the underwater flora and fauna, all while accompanied by your instructor who will make sure you remain safe at all times. If you have selected the duo option, you will be able to dive in pairs with an instructor. Once your dive is completed, you will have the opportunity to use fins, mask, and snorkel to enjoy some more of the jewels of the sea bed by snorkeling.
