Amongst the certifications from the French scuba diving federation (FFESSM), the PE12 is the first diploma course recognized for diving. This diving course is intended for those who are interested in underwater life and are eager to be able to explore the Mediterranean seabed. This course allows them to do so in a safe and controlled setting alongside a qualified instructor. Open to anyone from 12 years old, this scuba diving course does not require any particular experience and is perfectly suitable for beginners wishing to learn about the joys of scuba diving. After a preparation session in confined water, you will be able to discover the underwater biodiversity and develop your skills underwater during all the remaining sessions. In only 2 days, you approach diving in a playful and safe manner in the exceptional natural reserve of Cerbère-Banyuls. Admire the beauty of the Vermeille coast right down to the water's surface. You will be in absolute awe!
The PE12 qualifies you to: - Dive in France up to a maximum depth of 12 m - Dive with a diving instructor at your side
Programme We will meet you directly at our beach club in Cerbère. You will be given the rental equipment and you will meet your instructor who will talk you through the course programme. Then, you'll be all set to get started!
Course content The complete training includes 4 dives and theoretical courses over a period of 2 days for up to 8 people. At the beginning, we will explain how to use the diving equipment and then we will continue with a briefing on how to communicate underwater. During the first practical diving session, you will do several exercises underwater so that you can quickly get used to breathing underwater. From the second session onwards, you will know how to conduct yourself underwater and you can already start diving to a depth of 12 m.
