Get your certification and explore the beauty of Gozo's rich underwater flora and fauna at the same time. Goal of the course
The PADI Open Water Diver course teaches you all you need to know about scuba diving, including how to use your equipment, how to move and breathe properly underwater, and how to stay safe. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to dive independently to a depth of 18m, meaning that you don't need a qualified instructor to go scuba diving – only a buddy with a certification of the same level or higher.
Meeting & Preparation
We will send you the access details to the e-Learning programme after you've completed your booking so that you can start learning right away. You will then be able to complete the theoretical portion of the course before you arrive in Gozo. That way you can jump right into the practical part of the course on your first day at our dive centre. The relevant paperwork will also be available to complete within the PADI app you will use to access the e-Learning course. On the first day of your course in Gozo we will meet at our dive centre at 8:30. Then we can check all relevant forms are completed, get to know each other, find your equipment and very quickly you will be in the water learning some key skills!

We felt welcomed and were made at ease straight away from start of our conversation. During the course itself I felt that my kids were in safe hands, thought all they could, were look after, and it proof handy when my daughter dived after huge lunch. Her instructor Nat was amazing with her, looked after her and I was so pleased that day for the detailed communication skills she learnt during her course as she had to explain how she felt under water and be assisted with ascent and then Nat waited, adjusted time for descent and made the whole experience good one. Nat was amazing teacher, he even encouraged me ( scared of water) to explore places, to go for boat trips etc. we were picked up from our accommodation and dropped off again, there was no problem with me joining my daughters on their trips either. We would definitely come back for more dives and would stay next time at their own b&b.

Could not recommend these guys more!! Had the most incredible time every day, was grateful to have the pick up service (made life so much easier), and the staff were lovely! I was lucky enough to book with them at a time when no-one else was booked in for this course, so I had 1:1 instruction and dives. The process was easy and fun the whole way through, and the dive sites were magical! Can I take part if I can't swim, and are life jackets/floating devices provided (including for kids)?
No, the ability to swim is a requirement to take part in this course.
What certification do I get and what can I do with it?
After completing the course, you will receive the PADI Open Water Diver certification, which allows you to dive independently to a depth of 18 metres with a buddy who has a certification of the same level or higher.
What are the requirements to participate?
The minimum age for this course is 10 years. You also need to be in good physical health and be able to swim.
Is the diving equipment included?
