Diver's Club Crete will help you learn everything you need to know about scuba diving and our highly professional instructors will be by your side as you begin to gain experience underwater. Enjoy the fascinating submarine wildlife that can be found just off the shore in front of our dive centre.
Goal of the course
After having completed the Scuba Diver course, you are able to dive to a maximum depth of 12m, given that you are properly supervised by a professional. You will be introduced to the world of scuba diving, get to know how your scuba gear works and familiarise yourself with the sensation of breathing underwater. Furthermore, with it being a sub-programme of the Open Water Diver programme, you would only need to attend another 2 theory lessons and complete 2 confined water dives and 2 open water dives in order to obtain the full Open Water Diver certification.
Meeting & PreparationWe meet at our dive centre where you will meet your instructor and discuss the schedule of your course. We will ask you to fill out the medical statement to ensure you are fit to go scuba diving.
The theory for this course is done by eLearning, from your computer or mobile device (smartphone or tablet) and can be done even before your arrival at our dive centre. You can finish the theory comfortably at home and do all the fun parts here with us.
Please note that the eLearning course is not included in the price and must be paid for on site at a cost of 180€.

- Day 2: 1 Open Water Dive

It starts every day at 8 am, depending on the area, and the drop-off to your accommodation starts at about 3:30 pm
Can I take part if I can't swim, and are life jackets/floating devices provided (including for kids)?
To take part in this course, you must be able to swim.
What are the requirements to participate?
The minimum age for this course is 10 years. You also need to be in good physical health and have swimming ability.
What is included in the price?
The price includes a certified instructor, high-quality diving gear (wetsuit, mask, fins, octopus, weights), a scuba tank, hotel pickup and return, and the registration fee & certificate.
Are there any additional costs?
The theory part of the course is done via eLearning. This is not included in the price and costs an additional €180, to be paid on site.
