Enjoy the best surfing conditions during our surfing lessons at Matosinhos Beach: plenty of space in the ocean, quality surfboards and sun throughout the year! In our surf sessions, we welcome surfers of all levels, and we always divide groups according to similar level and age. Our team will choose the perfect tide for you: Beginners start with a foam and more experienced surfers take on high waves.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet 15min before the start of the lesson at our base. There, you will gear up and get to know your group and your surf instructor. You can leave your stuff at the base before going surfing. After a short walk to the sea, 2 hours of easy exercises and fun with your group await you including up to 1.5 hours in the water. Beginners will practice popping up on their surfboards, while the more experienced surfers will try bottom turns or take-offs. That is how one spends the perfect holidays!

Great surf lesson with Thiago! A super pedagogical instructor, attentive, and full of great advice. Despite us being late and not ending up with the right group at first, he took the time to go over everything again and re-explain without any issue. The explanations were perfectly suited for beginners like us. On top of that, he even gave us a few extra minutes at the end of the session to catch the last waves and finish on a high note. Highly recommend, Thiago is fantastic!
