About Special Surf 78 Peniche
Specialsurf78 is an ambitious and innovative project created in 2011. With a multidisciplinary team made of teachers, therapist and psychologists, we want to highlight the positivity, the good energy and the feeling of happiness that surfing can bring. Our school is based on the Cova da Alfarroba Beach in Peniche, one of the most famous surfing destinations in Portugal. We are situated inside the Hotel Star Inn Peniche, enjoying some really nice facilities. As such, you have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious Portuguese lunch between two surf sessions, or to just contemplate the waves and the sea while grabbing a drink. Our purpose is to give you the best surfing experience of your life, and to give you the best support and advices to help you progress easily. By joining us, you will discover that surfing is like riding a bike -once you've learned how to do it, you will never forget it.

Our surf trip to Peniche was fantastic! The staff and people there were extremely nice and friendly. The place itself was wonderful - there were always waves and the weather was always warm. My children (6, 12 and 17) all loved it. A perfect holiday for the whole family!
