The Glenans are beautiful and sailing there is wonderful.
What a beautiful trip, and it is a very nice boat to sail. The moment the sails were hoisted and the engine was turned off was fantastic. The islands are beautiful to visit, but even if you don't get off the boat, it is well worth it.
The boat trip was rather boring. We thought we'd see more. If you book the 3-hour tour, you're on the same boat as the people who are taken to the islands and then disembark. So, they simply go to the island, drop off the other passengers, and pick up those who arrived on an earlier boat. This was somewhat disappointing and also a bit tedious, as you just have to wait on the boat at the island's harbor for about 40 minutes until the passengers have boarded and disembarked. There were no aperitifs or "local biscuits" on the boat, only a type of lemonade, which was overpriced. When we asked, the employee said that these weren't available, even though they were advertised. Charging €50 per person for such a trip is a bit steep.
