A very pleasant 4-hour walk with a very good guide. I recommend it 100%.
Overall, a great trip. The captain talks a lot, naturally in French. Unfortunately, my French isn't good enough to understand everything. However, there's an information booklet where you can read up on it yourself. Cold drinks were sold at a fair price. At the mussel beds, a staff member came around with a tray full of oysters, and everyone was allowed to try one. The adults even got a sip of wine with it! The trip is a bit too long for children, though. The return trip is the same route as the outward journey and therefore not as spectacular, and the children will get bored quickly. Since the trip lasts 4 hours, be sure to bring snacks. Don't forget sunscreen!
A wonderful experience! The crew was incredibly attentive to our son in his wheelchair. The captain shared his knowledgeable and enthusiastic stories about the Canal du Midi, its locks, oyster beds, and the environment and climate that threaten these natural treasures. It was very hot, but the 4-hour trip was well worth it. A special shout-out from Florian, who celebrated his 34th birthday that day! 🕯 Highly recommended! Neighbors from the 74
