What to Expect

Join us on a whale and dolphin watchingcatamaran trip in Ponta Delgada that will be forever engraved in your memories! Before we begin our approximately three-hour journey, our expert marine biologists will share fascinating information about the 28 species of cetaceans and other marine life that inhabit the warm waters of the Azores. These briefings also cover essential safety measures and our commitment to respecting these magnificent creatures and their environment. Once on board our catamaran, which is perfectly equipped for navigating these waters, you will be ready for an unforgettable experience.

As we navigate the ocean, keep your eyes peeled for the breathtaking sight of whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. The coast of our beautiful island offers a backdrop of magical landscapes, making the experience even more special. Often, we also encounter turtles, birds, and other marine species, adding to the diversity of your adventure. Upon returning to the Ponta Delgada harbour, we will review the species we have spotted. You are welcome to visit our shop, where you can explore interesting displays about cetaceans, including exhibits such as krill and keratin plates from baleen whales.

We meet at our shop, 5 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find paid parking nearby.
