What to Expect

Try out surfing in one of the best surf spots in Europe with our surf lessons in Lagos. A surf day at our surf school begins with our surf van picking you up at a predetermined spot in the Lagos area. Depending on the winds, tides, and swell size, we will choose a surf spot that suits the day's conditions and is best for learning. After arriving at the surf spot, we will grab our gear from the van and head to the sand to get our wetsuits on. The surf session begins with a warm-up, introduction of the beach and ocean conditions, surf materials, and safety rules. We will also practice some techniques and pop-ups on the sand. We know you want to go surfing, and it is time to show us in the water what you have learned on the sand. We will spend around 2 hours in the water. Our groups are no bigger than 8 people, to make sure that our instructor can offer you personalized attention.

How To Get There

• Pick up: if you wish to make use of our pickup service, please contact us after completing the booking. We’ll pick you up from a nearby meeting point in Lagos, Praia da Luz or Burgau — usually the one closest to your accommodation. If you’re outside our pick-up areas, you can join us at a designated meeting point with parking available.

Start time

• The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 1 day in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.
