Get ready to explore Altea in a unique way with our sea kayak tour along the coastline! Together with an experienced guide, you will discover the rugged cliffs and hidden caves in Altea. This fun tour requires you to be in good shape as we will be paddling and hiking along the shore for approximately 4 hours.Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at the booked time in Mascarat Beach. We will start with an introduction to how to use the kayaks and an informative briefing on the route to ensure you are prepared for the trip. As soon as we get on our kayaks, we will set off directly towards the Punta del Mascarat and head towards the north.- Tour:
We continue towards the charming Racó del Corb cove, where we will enter the imposing cliffs of Morro del Toix, a breathtaking view of the sea. Along the route, we will find idyllic spots to stop and explore these marine caves, highlighting the spectacular Cueva dels Coloms cave, in which we will live a speleological experience to discover its interior. We will continue northwards until we reach the picturesque Cala del Gasparet, where we will enjoy a well-deserved break, go snorkelling and have a swim. - Return:
On the way back to Mascarat Beach, we will stop again at the Cueva dels Coloms to further explore its galleries and rooms, marvelling at the springs that flow into the sea. This unique phenomenon can only be seen in one other place in the world, on the Greek island of Kefalonia. Tour facts
