Join us for a unique experience with your loved ones, thanks to our sportive and adventurous canyoning in Madeira within an incredible canyon in the heart of the island. This canyon is located in Nun's Valley, in the middle of the island. This beautiful valley acquired its name centuries ago (in 1556) when it was attacked by pirates, forcing the nuns to flee. Moreover, it is suitable for everyone, as no prior experience is required and all obstacles can be avoided. Both young and adult participants can have fun!Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet at our shop in Caniço at the booked time. If you arrive by car, you will find both free and paid car parks located nearby our store. From there, we will travel together in our minibus to the canyon. To ensure your comfort during the activity, you can leave your personal items inside the minibus or our shop and retrieve them later. Upon arrival, you will receive all the necessary equipment for your adventure, along with a safety briefing. After a 20-minute walk, we will begin the tour.
- Tour:
During this tour, you will have the opportunity to explore this ancient area, which holds plenty of surprises for you. Along the way, you will encounter various obstacles to overcome, including six incredible rappels, with the highest one measuring 15 meters. However, if you don't feel confident about any of them, alternative routes are available. You will also get the chance to jump and dive into a natural pool for a refreshing break. Finally, we will continue canyoning amidst the sublime mountain views.
- Return:
At the end of the canyon, we will walk for 20 minutes to reach our minibus, which will transport us back to our starting point in Caniço. There, this sportive and exciting experience will come to an end, but it will likely remain unforgettable in your memory.Tour facts
