If you want to make your holidays at Elba even more memorable, don't miss our trial scuba diving in Marina di Campo! This is your chance to experience the feeling of breathing underwater for the first time and discover the colourful marine flora and fauna of this area. You will always be supervised by our experienced instructor, who will dive with you in a 1:1 session. No previous experience is needed for this dive, and it can also be done by kids from 8 years old. We will descend to a depth of maximum 5 metres in one of our usual diving spots, which are perfect for beginners and have a rich ecosystem to discover!
Dive area
We will choose the dive site in the morning, depending on the weather and sea conditions. For this dive, we usually choose a sheltered area so that the water is calm. All our dive sites generally offer excellent visibility and boast a wide variety of fish and marine life, such as groupers and snappers, as well as hermit crabs and octopuses.
Programme
We meet at our dive centre in Marina di Campo at 1.30pm. You will meet your instructor and wear the equipment, so that we are sure everything fits you well. If you come by car, you will find some free car parks within a few minutes' walk from our premises. In the afternoon, we will board our boat and reach our dive area, which will be 10-15 minutes of navigation away. While we navigate, there will be a small briefing regarding the equipment and how to communicate underwater. Finally, you will dive into the water together with an instructor who will be supervising you only. After exploring the underwater world to a depth of 5 metres, you will get back on the boat and recharge with some snacks offered by us. Once all the participants have done their trial dive, we will return to our base, where you can shower and change.
