Most praise the "very professional organized" tour, from the smooth online booking to the punctual boat and bus transfers. The landscape, including the volcano crater and charming villages, is a major highlight. While one review noted the bus air conditioning could be better on a hot day, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, making it a highly recommended experience.

The online booking went smoothly. The boat trip with Demitrios was great. The boat stayed in the port of Mandraki on Nisyros. The stop in the village of Nikia, although quite short at 40 minutes, was very nice. Please do not walk to the crater from there. The bus stops there on the return journey. The visit to the crater is unfortunately a bit expensive at €5, but the frappe at Tavernedavir makes up for it. Overall, the booking was 50% cheaper, and you can easily manage on your own even with limited English skills. Overall, very worthwhile!
Was a really great trip, very professional organized, great to see Nikia and the Volcano crater.
Tour was great! Very pleasant ferry crossing. We first visited a very pretty mountain village with Nikia with a magnificent view before going down into the crater. Finally, we had more than 2 hours in Mandraki, from where the ferry left again at 3.30pm to return to Kardamena. 10 minutes more in Nikia would have been even better. So it was a successful Sunday excursion. Tour plan: 9.30am departure Kardamena 10.30am arrival at Mandraki port and change to bus 11.00am-11.40am Nikia 12.00pm-12.40pm at the crater 1.10pm-3.30pm Mandraki 3.30pm departure boat to Kardamena 4.30pm back in Kardamena
You cannot bring your own food or drinks. However, drinks are available for purchase at the bar on board, and you can have lunch in one of the restaurants in Nikia.
