Our highly experienced and certified instructors will introduce you to this amazing sport and lifestyle. To allow you to make the most out of your surfing lesson, the maximum number of participants in our group lessons is of 5 people per instructor. Meeting & Preparation
On the day of your surf lesson, we will meet at our base at Praia do Tarquínio. Here you will meet your instructor and you will receive the proper equipment, which will be based on your age and your experience. If you arrive by car, you can use the car park (parking fee).
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

- Introduction about the surf equipment and how to take care of it
- Safety information and surf etiquette
- Info about the wind, the tide, the swell, and the currents
- Technique practice: paddling, board control, standing up
- Balancing stance and first manoeuvres

Our experience was really good! The teachers were super friendly and teached us the basics pretty good. We did 5 days, and we definitely saw big progress. If you search for a good surf school I can definitely recommend!

The surf course was a lot of fun, everything important was explained at the beginning, warm-up exercises were done and then we went straight to surfing with good waves for beginners, would book again at any time :)
