Her er en naturlig og velformuleret engelsk version, som passer godt til en Google-anmeldelse: This felt like a major tourist scam. We booked this trip online to see sea turtles, but the weather conditions were clearly unsuitable. The forecast showed strong winds and thunderstorms, so I contacted the company in advance to ask if we could move the trip to another day. They replied that they still expected to sail. On the first day, the trip was cancelled at the harbour because of lightning and thunderstorms. We returned the next day. It was still very windy, but nobody mentioned that the chances of seeing turtles were extremely low. Instead, we sailed for about 10 minutes before the skipper announced that we wouldn’t be able to find any turtles that day. He then quickly took us to Turtle Island and dropped us off on what was essentially just a beach, with nothing else happening. We spoke to several other guests at our hotel who had been on different turtle tours lasting up to three hours. None of them had seen any turtles either because the operators were still running tours in weather conditions that were clearly unsuitable. My issue is not that we didn’t see turtles—wildlife can never be guaranteed. My issue is the lack of honesty. They should simply tell customers when the weather makes turtle sightings very unlikely, so people can make an informed decision about whether to go or reschedule. If you’re planning to book this trip, make sure the weather conditions are good. Otherwise, it may be a waste of your money.
Nice area, very friendly captain and small groups. Way better than the big massive boats
We had really value for money. The organisation is very professional. They really want to give you a very relaxed feeling, no matter how busy they are. Our boat was running late and they gave a replacement with a private boat. Thank you very much, we had a lovely afternoon!
