At our diving centre, located at the entrance of the marina, next to the car park (Port de plaisance, 20260 Calvi, France)
A team of very patient instructors who manage to make us overcome the fear of the depths! An unforgettable experience, I highly recommend it!
I recommend without hesitation. Olivier and Denis were golden guides. Denis, a great patient and very pedagogue, was able to introduce the two great anxious people that we are to the pleasures of diving. 😁
No, the ability to swim is a requirement to participate in this activity.
Scuba diving involves going underwater to a depth of up to 6 m with a breathing apparatus for 20-30 minutes, guided by an instructor. Snorkeling happens on the surface of the water, using a mask and a snorkel. You can snorkel while other participants are scuba diving.
You will dive in clear water where you can observe corals and colourful fish. You might also see moonfish, seahorses, and with a bit of luck, even rays.
The minimum age is 8 years. You also need to be able to swim and be in general good health. If you wear glasses, you must be comfortable wearing contact lenses.
A certified dive guide, a scuba tank, and all the high-quality diving gear you need (wetsuit, mask, fins, octopus, weights) are included.
The total time spent at sea is 2.5 hours. The dive itself lasts for 20 or 30 minutes, depending on the option chosen.
You will be accompanied one-on-one by a state-certified instructor to a depth of 6 metres.
Yes, it is possible to bring an accompanying passenger on the boat. This is available on request for a surcharge to be paid on site.
You are in good hands. The instructors are known to be very patient and pedagogical, and are great at helping even anxious participants discover the pleasure of diving.
