Hop on board with us for this private boat trip from Gallipoli to Sant'Andrea Island and set off to discover the amazing coast of Salento. With this trip, you get the chance to admire one of the few islands of this region from up close and relax in complete privacy.
Our journey starts from the dock of Seno Del Canneto, a historical location of the city directly overlooking the Castle of Gallipoli. Since it's a private trip, you have plenty of flexibility and can decide how many stops you want to make and for how long to stop. Usually, once on board, we immediately cruise along Spiaggia della Purità (the Beach of Purity), the only beach located in the historic centre, and then we head towards Sant'Andrea Island, which with its imposing lighthouse dating back to 1866 is the town's landmark. The area around the island is part of a protected area to safeguard its fauna.
We can then stop off the island, and always in complete privacy, you and your friends will have time to swim and snorkel, being able to capture your best moments in the crystal-clear water of Gallipoli, as a GoPro camera is at your disposal on the boat. Once back on board, good music and a small apéritif will be waiting for you as we slowly head back to our starting point.

We meet in front of the 'Pasticceria Martinucci' at the booked time. Close to the meeting point, you can find a free car park, just behind the Church of Maria Santissima del Canneto. The boat trip can take 3, 6, or 8 hours, at the end of which you return to the starting point.

Was a great experience. Two stops for swimming in a deep blue and warm water. Water & typical snacks during the cruise. A shade to be protect of the sun.
