If you have always been curious about what lies underwater, you can join our trial scuba diving and explore the beautiful Kavourakia beach in Kallithea! In small groups and with the supervision of our certified instructors, you will have your first experience in a confined area suited for beginners with a maximum depth of 6 m. Then, if you are hungry for more, you can join our instructors for a second dive in the beach where you will go deeper and discover the stunning rock formations, Posidonia field, and the Mediterranean Sea life.
Dive Area
The dive spot is a confined area at Kavourakia beach. It is especially suited for beginners for it's calm and not so deep waters. The second dive will also take place here, at a maximum depth of 12 m.
ProgrammeMeeting & Preparation:
We meet at our diving academy at the booked time, there is a free parking space near in case you come by car. If you wish, we also offer a transfer service free of charge in those places (Lalissos, Rhodes Town, Kallithea, Faliraki, Kolymbia). You just have to contact us after booking to choose the meeting place. We will give you all the equipment and safety instructions. We will also show you how to use the equipment correctly, how to breath, and the signals to communicate with your instructor underwater. After that, we will start walking to the beach.
Immersion:
Once at the beach, you will make your first dive not exceeding 6 m and repeat 3 safety skills to make sure you enjoy the experience in a relaxing way. Our groups are up to 6 people, with one instructor always accompanied by 2 assistants, to always ensure your safety. Then, you will have the opportunity to do a second dive. This time, the maximum depth is 12 m, which allows you to admire the beautiful rock formations of Kavourakia beach and the marine life. Alternatively, you can also spend the rest of the day swimming and enjoying this beautiful beach! After an amazing introduction to the diving world, we will go back to the diving centre.
