If you want to make your holidays in the Var region extra special, book a diving experience in Saint-Raphaël. For your first dive in the Mediterranean Sea, we take you to the small and precious island of Lion de Mer. After a briefing and some safety instructions, our state-qualified instructor will give you your equipment and accompany you underwater for 20 minutes. You will benefit from an introductory dive up to 6 metres deep, where you can enjoy the fabulous underwater landscapes. You will surely come across some typical local fish such as barracudas, sea breams, or dusky groupers.
Dive Area
The Lion de Mer is an islet of rocks located in the bay of Saint-Raphaël. Because of its preserved environment and its shallow depth, this diving spot is a real jewel for novice divers who will be able to observe some flowering corals and protected underwater species.
Meeting point
We will meet you directly at our store (there is paid parking nearby). Your relatives will be able to enjoy the town centre and its shops in the meantime. We will accompany you to the boat which is located 30 metres away where you will be taken care of by your instructor. He will give you the safety instructions and help you with the equipment and explain how to use it. Underwater one-on-one with your instructor, he will guide you and give you some tips.
