Our guided dive in the Calanques from Marseille will allow you to discover all the secrets of the national park. According to your certification and your desires, our state-certified diving instructors will suggest you a diving site and accompany you during the exploration dive. For about 1 hour, you will be able to explore the seabed of the Mediterranean Sea and discover the colourful fish that are found in the cracks of the underwater rocks.Dive area
We have a large choice of diving areas around Marseille, which will be chosen according to your level and the weather conditions, but our favourite sites are in the Calanques National Park and especially around the Frioul archipelago. Thus, you will dive in turquoise blue water and be able to observe exceptional underwater fauna and flora. You can count on capons, brown groupers and peacock wrasse to come and greet you during your dive! Programme
We meet 15 minutes before the booked time at our base in the old port of Marseille.If you come by car, there is paid parking nearby. Once you have arrived, you will meet our team who will give you your diving equipment. You will be able to leave your gear after you have changed. Then you will board the boat and head for the chosen dive area. There, we will dive in groups of maximum 8 people. After about 3 hours at sea, we will return to the old port of Marseille. What marine life might I see on this activity?
You can expect to see a variety of Mediterranean marine life. The dive sites are home to species like capons, brown groupers, peacock wrasse, jacks, bream, barracuda, and moray eels.
What are the requirements to join?
You need to be at least 8 years old and hold an active Open Water Diver certification. Your last dive must have been within the last year. A medical certificate is strongly recommended. If you wear glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses.
