Details
With the Open Water Diver, you can dive up to 18 meters into the depths worldwide and explore what the underwater world holds hidden for you. Our course consists of 3 parts: the theory, which you can do online from the comfort of your own home, the practice in the pool, and finally the dive in the sea. Our trained instructors will accompany you on your way to becoming an autonomous diver and provide you with helpful tips and tricks. In order for you to focus perfectly on the course, we provide you with the complete equipment. Experience the adventure of your life with us, we look forward to seeing you!
Goal of the course
You will learn important concepts that will be used during later dives. You will also learn about underwater pressure equalization, equipment, procedures, and techniques. In the pool, you will learn how to handle the equipment properly. In the sea, you complete 4 dives, which teach you to dive up to 18 meters, where what you already learned is used.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet 20 minutes before the start of the course in our base, where we introduce ourselves and get to know you better. Then we start with the theoretical part of the course. You will be given and explained the appropriate equipment and then we go into the cool water, where we put the theory into practice.
Course content
- Theory (5 modules)
- Practice: 2 dives in the pool, 4 dives in the open sea
- The course lasts 4 days. However, you are welcome to talk to the diving school on site to complete the course in 5 days.
- The theoretical part part has to be paid on site and it's 150€.
