A very siphatic small group with which you immediately feel very comfortable. The dives were beautiful and all of the instructors were very patient and professional. If I go diving to Mallorca again, I will definitely choose Balear Divers again.
No, swimming ability is a requirement to participate in this course.
You will receive the PADI Open Water Diver certification, which is recognized worldwide and allows you to dive independently with a buddy and rent or buy diving equipment.
You must be at least 10 years old, be in good physical health, and have a medical certificate that is not older than 2 years (or 1 year if you are over 40). You also need to be able to swim.
The course includes 5 practice dives in confined water, 4 open water dives, a certified PADI diving instructor, high-quality diving gear, and a scuba tank (10L).
Yes, the PADI teaching material is not included and costs €150, to be paid on site.

The meeting point is directly at the dive base in Port d'Andratx. A large free car park is located about 10 minutes away, and paid parking is also available in the blue zones at the port.












The activity PADI Open Water Diver Course for Beginners in Port d'Andratx by Diving Dragonera is available on Monday, from August 20, 2026 through October 26, 2026. On each available day there is 1 start time at 10:00. Sessions last 4 days and are offered as group activities. Prices start from €449.00 per person.
