Discover the underwater fauna and flora during our snorkeling excursion in the heart of the Mediterranean accompanied by our certified guides. From Hyères, we have a choice of many beautiful snorkeling sites, so we choose a site with few waves and a weak current depending on the weather. In general, we go either to Cap des Mèdes, located on the island of Porquerolles, or to La Badine. Here you will find typical Mediterranean species such as groupers and barracudas, but also nudibranchs and many other fish, molluscs and crustaceans. Programme
We will meet you at our base in Hyères at the agreed time. On arrival you will be greeted by your instructor who will give you your equipment and a detailed briefing. From Hyères, we depart by boat to the ideal site depending on the weather. Once you arrive at the snorkeling site, you will enter the water with your group to admire the underwater scenery and the different underwater life species. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to discover/see underwater. I think that's normal on the Côte d'Azur, though—it's not the Great Barrier Reef, after all.
It was definitely good value for money, and I highly recommend it!
