You are on holiday on the Basque Coast? This is the perfect place to start surfing! And especially on the beach of Hendaye, one of the most beautiful in the Basque Country. From the age of 5, your children can discover this sport during surfing lessons specially adapted for them. They will be able to benefit from the pedagogy and experience of their certified instructor from our surf school in small groups of 4 to 6 surfers, guaranteeing them a personalized support as close as possible to their needs.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our school directly on the beach of Hendaye 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the lesson. There, your child will meet their instructor who will provide them with the equipment (wetsuit and surfboard) adapted to the season and their level. Then, off to the beach.

The activity Surf Lessons for Kids (5-7 y.) on Hendaye Beach by Gold Coast Surf School Hendaye is available every day, from August 19, 2026 through October 29, 2026. Each day offers 6 start times between 8:30 and 20:00. Sessions last 1 hour and are offered as group activities. Prices start from €35.00 per person.
