As a family with 4 children aged 18, 12, 10, and 8, we participated in the canyoning.
It quickly became clear that our two youngest would not be able to keep up with the pace of the older participants.
The leaders rightly decided to separate my wife, myself, and the two youngest from the group. This removed the pressure to perform for the little ones.
They were able to take in the experience at their own pace and take the time to build their self-confidence, which meant both enjoyed the fun and challenging jumps.
Along the way, we as parents were not forgotten; we also had the chance to do a challenging jump here and there while our leader, Pere, kept an eye on the children.
