Let’s meet at the “Rivières Evasion” chalet in Serre-Chevalier-Chantemerle. We will provide you with the appropriate equipment for the excursion and introduce you to your guides. Please, don’t forget to bring your canyoning shoes along! We will drive together to the canyon aboard our transfer shuttle.
Tour
The trip ahead will last an entire day or just the afternoon, depending on what you are up for. If your goal is to descend the river at a rather speedy pace, choose the “Full Descent” option which will bring you down the canyon in a 5.5h course. If you rather fancy a calmer and shorter course during which you’ll have time to repeat some parts (jumping, abseiling, etc.) then choose the “Upper Part” option (since we’ll stay in the upper part of the river).
In any way, the course is definitely one you won’t forget. We can’t stress enough how the Chichin is an extraordinary canyoning course, reserved to the lucky few! The setting is splendid and the course itself is one of the most famous in France. By now, who hasn’t heard of the Chichin as one-of-a-kind canyoning descend?
