Agay (Camping Paradis, 935 Av. du Gratadis, Agay, 83530 Saint-Raphaël)
Discover the Estérel from the sea on this guided sunset kayak tour, setting out from Agay into one of the most beautiful stretches of the Var coastline at the loveliest hour of the day. Under the eye of a qualified sea guide, you will paddle along dramatic red porphyry cliffs that glow ever warmer as the sun drops, threading past tiny coves that can only be reached by kayak or by swimming.
Your guide adapts the route to the day's conditions to keep the paddle comfortable and safe whatever the swell - so every departure makes the most of the sea and the evening light. Along the way you will glide past hidden inlets, sheer rock faces, and some of the wildest, best-preserved corners of the massif, with the cliffs deepening from red to amber around you.
The highlight of the outing is the swim stop in still-warm, astonishingly clear water, followed by the main event: watching the sun set over the sea from your kayak. As the sky changes colour and the coast falls quiet, it is a chance to slow down, float, and take in a view you simply cannot get from land.
Suitable from age 10 and open to all levels, this is the perfect way to experience the Estérel massif at its most magical. Two-person kayaks are available, making it a great option for families and friends.
