Experience a guided bus tour to the amazing landscapes of the Southern Coast & Waterfalls of Iceland! Departing from Reykjavik, our comfortable bus, equipped with reclining seats and large windows for optimal viewing, will take you through the awe-inspiring southern coast of Iceland. Our expert guide will captivate you with stories about Icelandic geology and culture as we make our way to the first stop, the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Here, you can walk behind the curtain of cascading water, offering a unique perspective and a refreshing experience. A short walk leads us to the magical hidden Gljúfrafoss, accessible through a narrow gorge, where the water seems to fall from the sky.
Continuing the adventure, we visit the impressive Skógafoss waterfall, known for its towering 60-meter drop and the vibrant rainbows that often appear on sunny days, adding a touch of magic to the scene. Nearby, the tranquil Kvernufoss waterfall, tucked away in a picturesque canyon, offers a more secluded and intimate encounter with nature. Our journey then takes us to the stunning Reynisfjara black sand beach, famous for its striking basalt columns and dramatic rock formations emerging from the ocean. In the Vik area, you'll have about 30 minutes to enjoy a leisurely lunch and rest.
The final highlight of the tour is Dyrhólaey, a breathtaking peninsula renowned for its impressive stone arch and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the southern coast. Here, during the puffin season, you can witness cliffs teeming with these charming birds. As you soak in the unparalleled views of the Icelandic landscape, you'll feel a deep connection with nature. After a full day of exploration, we return to Reykjavik, bringing back unforgettable memories of Iceland's southern coast.
