What to Expect
Enjoy the wonders of the sea during our surf lessons at the beautiful Praia da Areia Branca or at another beach if necessary according to the levels and conditions. If necessary, we also offer transfer from our base to other beaches. Our surf lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediates, and advanced surfers. Each session lasts approximately 2 hours but may extend up to 5-6 hours including transfer time to different surf spots within a 20 km range from the surf school. The surf school offers excellent facilities including a changing rooms, chill out area, and shower to ensure you have a comfortable experience. The maximum number of participants is 6 per instructor to ensure progress and safety.
During the course, beginners will learn the basics, including an introduction to surfing and ocean tides, positioning on the board, paddling, sitting, and turning. Intermediates will enhance their skills by choosing the right surf equipment, improving paddling techniques, and learning advanced surfing positions. Advanced surfers will focus on catching and riding unbroken waves, practicing classic surfing lines, and performing advanced manoeuvres like tube riding and cutbacks.
