When in Sicily, visiting the Etna is a must! Do not miss the excitement of standing on the highest volcano in Europe and learning about its history and development over the years. With our day trip with Jeep tour on Etna and snorkeling, we will drive with our Jeeps on the volcano, enjoy the incredible view and then end the day exploring the underwater world.
We meet in Catania, and once we are all on board, we will drive up the volcano. Our specialized guide will bring you on different panoramic paths and will give you time to appreciate the unique panorama, with black sand, gentle slopes and numerous dormant craters. The tour will continue with a visit to an area of ancient explosive activity, where we will find some hornitos, structures built up by lava ejected through an opening in the ground. After reaching a lookout point on the Valle del Bove, the most important valley on the east side of the volcano, we will enjoy some local products like wine, honey and liquor, so that you can discover the taste and flavours typical of this volcanic region.
We will then move to the coast, and do some snorkeling from the beach. Our snorkeling guide, who is a marine biologist, will decide the best spot for snorkeling depending on the wind and sea conditions of the day. Then, we will help you find fish, shellfish, octopuses, starfish and sea urchins hidden in the incredible rock formations of the lavic seabed. You will also have the chance to see columnar basalt and pillow lavas, which are spherical lobes of lava formed during eruptions. At the end of the day, we will return to our office in Aci Castello.

We meet at our office in Aci Castello, in Via Provinciale 23, 10 minutes in advance. If you need to park your car, you can use the car park in Via Marina, only a few minutes from our office. At the end of the trip, we go back to the same point.
