Details

Take the chance to become a certified diver with this PADI Open Water course in Agios Nikolaos. In just a few days, you can learn the basic skills for practicing scuba diving in the pristine bay in eastern Crete. No previous experience is required, since you will learn everything you need to know during your training. Once you have completed the course, you will receive an internationally recognized scuba diving certification. You will learn the theory of scuba diving, including communication signs, management of your gear and how to properly behave underwater. Your first dives will take place in confined waters, so you can gain confidence and better understanding of the equipment. Once you have the skills and confidence, you will dive several times in unrestricted waters up to 18 meters together with a qualified instructor.
The PADI Open Water Diver Course qualifies you to: - Dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters/60 feet - Plan and execute dives with a certified buddy - Rent or buy diving equipment worldwide
Programme - e-learning: If you choose the e-learning option, we will send you the online study programme to complete before the first day of your course. Just contact us after the booking to give access to the learning materials. At the beginning of the course, we will make sure you have successfully completed the theoretical part of the PADI Open Water Diver course with the confirmation slip you received from the e-learning platform. Then, you can move straight on to the practical part of your scuba diving experience. - On-site theory lecture: If you choose the option to take the theoretical course on-site, you will learn all about scuba diving theory in a classroom setting at the dive centre with one of our instructors. - Kick-off: In both cases, we will meet at the dive centre, at the agreed time to fill out the necessary paperwork, including a brief medical questionnaire. When it gets to your first practical diving sessions in the pool, we will provide you with all the rental equipment you need. The exact schedule of your course is set individually, based on your progress with the theoretical part of the course and on how much time you have to spare during the following days. We will discuss this on your first day at the dive centre.
