If you are ready to experience an important dose of adrenaline, the Intermediate Canyoning in Ribeira do Cidrão is perfect for you. The canyon is located in the beautiful Nun's Valley, a very popular village in Madeira situated in the crater of an extinct volcano. Besides, the canyon is surrounded by the central mountains of Madeira island, making the experience even more enjoyable. Abseils, jumps, waterfalls, many exciting hurdles will be on your way. That's why, we recommend it only to people with previous canyoning experience.Tour programme- Preparation:
We will arrange a transfer starting from your hotel in Funchal or Caniço from 8am to 9am. The meeting time might change depending on the location of your hotel. If you live in another area, we can provide a pick-up (for a surcharge to be paid on site) if you contact us beforehand. Once on board, we will drive you to the canyon where we will give to you all the equipment necessary and where our certified guide will explain to you the activity.
- Tour:
After a 20-min walk, we will reach the canyon where your exciting experience will start. You will face several abseils, the highest being at 16 meters and jumps alongside beautiful waterfalls. However, do not worry if you do not wish to do the jumps, there is always a way around !
- Return:
Once you finished the canyoning, we will walk for 5 minutes to reach the vehicle that will take you back to your hotel around 1pm. Tour facts
