Relax on the lake Furnas in a canoe with your friends and family! The canoe tour on the island of Sao Miguel will take you to the real paradise where plants and animals live in their natural habitat. With a certified guide from Picos de Aventura, you will also learn a lot about the area and you can be sure that you will be safe. Tour programmePreparation
We meet at the parking at the Lagoa das Furnas. There, you get to know your guide and the rest of the participants of the tour. From there, we walk a few minutes to reach the lake, distribute equipment and brief you about the safety during the tour.
Tour
Once on the lake, we paddle on the clear green water for about 2hrs. During this time, your guide explains you specification of the region, especially the origin of the lake and its surroundings.
Arrival
Our canoeing tour ends at the same place where we met.

Will I be in the same boat as my friends, and how do I book a kayak for two?
The canoes used for the tour are sit-on-top models designed for two people and one child.
