Meeting & Preparation
We meet you at our school on Praia do Amado at 10 am (the time may change depending on the season: we will inform you in time before your course). There, you will meet our instructors, you will be equipped with the appropriate gear and then you will reach the water for a 2.5hrs session. As first time surfing with our surf school you might be asked to do a skills check up in the white wash before heading to the green waves, for safety and to be accurate with our teaching method.
Course Content
Each day of lesson contains two 1.5-hour sessions, which are organized as follows:
- Briefing
- Theory session on the beach
- The right warm up
- Practice on the beach
- Practice in the sea
- Debriefing
As an advanced surfer, you will be reminded of safety rules, learn to recognize where you can paddle, how to behave on the line up and catch your first green waves. Other things may be added depending on the length of your course.
