The PADI Scuba Diver is the perfect introductory course for those who don't have much time but want to learn the basics of diving and go dive into the ocean just after! With this program, you will take your first steps towards autonomy and be later able to dive with a PADI instructor. With Blue Water Diving, come discover the colourful subaquatic life of the Canary Islands: diving has never been so much fun!
Goal of the course
The PADI Scuba Diver is a shorter version of the PADI Open Water Diver course. It will allow you to learn the fundamentals of diving, including diving techniques and the use of your equipment. You will have the possibility to dive up to 12m with a PADI Instructor and if you want to continue your diving journey, you can just complete the Open Water certification with the rest of the courses, no need to do it all over again!
Meeting & Preparation
We meet you directly at our base in Puerto Rico Harbour, at the agreed time. If you need a pick-up from your hotel, we can arrange it after the booking. There, you will meet your instructor, fill out all the necessary forms and then be provided with your equipment. You can use our facilities on site (changing room, toilets).
Course content
- Day 1: Theory + 3 Dives in Pool
- Day 2: Theory + 2 Open Water Dives from the beach

Can I take part if I can't swim, and are life jackets/floating devices provided (including for kids)?

The minimum age to take part in this course is 10 years old.
What will I be able to do after completing the course?
After the course, you will receive a PADI Scuba Diver certificate, allowing you to dive up to 12 m deep with a PADI instructor. You can also easily continue your training to get the PADI Open Water Diver certification.
