Your last dive was some time ago and you want to explore the underwater world in full safety again? Then this refresher course is for you. Even if your last dive was not more than a year ago, it is always a good idea to repeat the theoretical basics and most important exercises in the water with an experienced and certified dive instructor!
Goal of the course
The goal of this course is to refresh your diving knowledge and skills. The program is simple and fast and prepares you for the next SSI course or diving excursion.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at the appointed time at our dive centre in Vrsar. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the centre or at the camping site car park. Please bring your dive certificate and logbook with you. After you have filled in the customer card, liability release and health statement, we will give you a briefing about the dive centre premises and you get the necessary dive equipment. Then you will meet your SSI professional and start the refresher course.
Course content
The first part of the course is about the dive theory. Important safety concepts and basics of dive planning are part of it. Then the assembly of the diving equipment is practiced. In the water of our house bay, Porto Sole, we practice the most important diving skills.

Can I take part if I can't swim, and are life jackets/floating devices provided (including for kids)?
No, swimming ability is a requirement to take part in this course.
Who is this course for?
This refresher course is for certified divers who haven't dived in a while and want to safely refresh their knowledge and skills with an instructor.
What are the requirements to participate?
You need to be at least 10 years old, have a (Jr.) Scuba Diver certification or higher, be physically fit, and have a medical certificate for diving that is not older than one year.
What should I bring with me?
Please bring your diving certificate, your logbook, and a medical certificate for diving from a physician (not older than 1 year).
Is the diving equipment included?
The diving equipment is optional. You can choose to have high-quality equipment, including a wetsuit, regulator, BCD, mask, fins, tank, and weights, provided for you.
What does the course include?
The course includes one theory lesson to refresh safety concepts and dive planning, followed by one practice dive in the house bay, Porto Sole, to practice the most important skills.
