What to Expect

Take your paragliding adventure to the next level with an exciting thermal tandem flight above the stunning Kitzbühel Alps. Thanks to rising thermal air currents, you’ll glide higher, fly longer, and enjoy an even more impressive bird’s-eye view of the surrounding alpine scenery. Accompanied by a certified tandem pilot, you can relax and fully enjoy the experience while safely soaring above snow-covered peaks and green mountain valleys.

No previous experience is needed, making this flight ideal for both first-time flyers and adrenaline seekers looking for a longer aerial adventure. Before take-off, your pilot will give you a full introduction and safety briefing so you feel comfortable and ready to fly. Launching from renowned flying areas such as Westendorf, Söll, Hopfgarten, and Kirchberg, you’ll spend approximately 30–45 minutes in the air and cover a height difference of at least 1,000 meters. During the flight, you’ll also gain insight into how thermal winds work and how paragliders use them to stay airborne longer.

How to Get There

• Meeting place: at one of our four locations: Fleckalmbahn or Hohe Salve gondola, either at the valley or mountain station

• Meeting time: 10 minutes before the start of the activity

• Free parking is available at the valley station of the gondola

• Please note that the gondola ride from the valley station to the top station takes approximately 30 minutes

• Backpacks can be sent down with the gondola. Smaller personal items such as wallets or handbags (under 3 kg) can be taken on the flight

• Minimum weight: 25 kg
